We've received some great news! Out of 700 applicants, The Picasso Kid has been chosen as one of 184 semi-finalists for the Kent Capener small business grant ($1000.00) offered by The Idea Cafe, a top-rated website for small business recognized by C/Net, The Wall Street Journal and Business Week Online.
To win this grant, we need to do a few things to beat out the competition:
1. Spread the word about our candidacy and TheIdeaCafe.com (that includes YOU and our local press).
2. Demonstrate an inventive approach which will inspire others who come to IdeaCafe.com seeking advice on starting and running a business.
We are welll on our way to accomplishing these tasks. You can help too by telling everyone you know about our achievement and about The Idea Cafe. Tell them The Picasso Kid sent you!
Once we make it to the finals, all our friends will be eligible to vote for us...so stay tuned here to find out if we make it.
